  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

My Wife Bought Me Opus X Lancero For Valentine Day 4 Years Ago. It Sat In The Bottom Of My Humidor Until Today. I Have Smoked My Share Of Opus X And Forbidden X . And Always Came Away Saying There Good But Are The Worth The Money.well It's Amazing What Age Can Do For A Cigar. It Was Great Full Bodied But Tamed By Age. Yes This Cigar Was Worth The Money!

Glad you had a great smoke! Nice to hear about the added benefits of age, too. Who says NCs don't improve with age?

That's one gorgeous Valentine's gift! As for the aging, glad to know the Opus I'm planning on aging will benefit so well!

I've had two well aged Opus this week, one an OR No.2 and the other a 2000 No.5

They both sucked. 95% of the zesty citrus that I love in Opus was gone, there was just a shell of the strength left...just not what I love about Opus. I have about 20 Fuente Fuente left from 2002 and they are just outstanding. So my new rule of thumb is gonna be to not let any Opus sit for over seven years.

One day, when I'm grown up, I'll be able to age ANYTHING for six or seven years.

Although I did grab some Opus from mnelson...I'll keep this in mind. Thanks Wade.

If anyone wants to know how much age an Opus needs:

Just send me about 10 to 15 with different age on them and I will let you know. :grinFU:
