  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Purchased around Christmas of 2002, the cello was removed and it was stored in a cedar tray until tonight ...

A sublime smoke. Perfect construction and appearance, with a smooth, uniform wrapper. No soft spots, sunspots, or other faults, accented by the beautiful Opus X band.

It lighted easily and smoked straight - settling down almost immediately, rich and complex, yet never harsh or hot. The finish was sublime ... and the aging seems to have removed any of teh overpowering tendancies of this great cigar.

A joy from start to finish, it was pleasant down to the band and beyond.

Here are the numbers ...

Construction: 9/10
Flavor: 19/20
Finish: 9/10
Smoking experience: 19/20

Great review and I agree highly with your findings, the larger opus formats are much more flavorfull and not soo over powering that you can't find the wonderful flavors that are hiding underneath the ass pouding nicotine :)
