  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I had my first Petit Lancero on Saturday morning. Wow! What a great cigar.

i give it a 93/100

The pre-light draw on this is very similar to the DonCarlos Anniversay...they both have what i call a spice cake flavor. Very unique. The Don carlos flavor is just a lot more pronounced, or heavy, so much so that you can smell it in the foot. ANyhow, the opus had it too. Very nice and i knew right away i was going to like this one. The burn was great on it. i didn't expect it to burn well at all since it was much more spongy than i typckally like. I thought that somehow i must have over humidified it, even though i keep mine humi at about 64%. None-the-less, this one burned even and produced plenty of smoke. The flavor was a heavy leather and i'm sure there were other flavors tucked in there as well, i just wasn't trying to hard to pull them out. Also to my disappointment, i had to put this one down with about 2 inches left on it. Sinful!!!

For loooking so sweet and innocent, this is a powerful cigar. I felt the heavienss in my chest well before the half way point. And i swear Mr. President, i didn't inhale.

I've had a handfull of Opus X now, and this one has definitley left me with a great impression. I'd be curious to try a No.2 some day. The Reserva de Chateau was another great one.

i will be picking more of these Lanceros up if i ever see them again. I've only seen them once and i bought the last one they had.
