  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

So I have always had generally good experiences with Fuente cigars in general, and my experiences with Opus X have been nothing short of great, often phenomenal. This Petite Lance was no exception to that rule. It delivered every bit of complexity I have come to expect, in a perfectly constructed package, that kept dropping ash all over my lap, and made my head spin, and stomach churn by the end of the almost 2 hour smoking time. Maybe some day the Opus blend won't kick my butt, but for now, it is the one cigar that makes me feel green (and very happily so I might add). Leather, fruit, espresso, earth, cinnamon, pepper, cedar, oak... it's all here. This was just a huge cigar in a small package, and is really what I consider almost my ideal cigar, at least in terms of flavor profile and complexity. If only they would cut down the nicotine...

Review is like a book. Really a bit overboard with the details yet again, so I'm still just going to link: Opus PL Review

Thanks for reading brothers. :cbig:

Another great, review!

I, too, love the way the flavor profile hits me, especially that rich complexity of leather and spice. During my first, I had this strong thought that said, "this is a great cigar that I really like." I could tell I was smoking something of exceptional quality, but that doesn't necessarily mean it will "match up" with what we like.

I have smoked a lot of good cigars, but when I smoke a great one and love it, it's a watershed moment. Especially given how little time I have been at this.

Thanks again for sharing a detailed and rich experience, just like the cigar.

I know it sounds too soon but my Opus have been marrying the
nicotene and flavors after 4 to 6 mnths. in my humi. This ive noticed the
past year or so.
