kinda hard to find, but worth the hunt when you do.
a very unique shape,box pressed foot,torpedo head.
very solid feeling cigar, heavy tobacco smell with a spicy cocoa background.
used scissors to cut it. not an easy cigar to light, box pressed are usually like that for me,but my trusty bugatti was up to the task.
cocoa, cedar and tobacco with light spice to start my adventure.
a fantastic draw is producing clouds of smoke.burn is as near perfect as you're gonna get,and the flavors are mixing well on my palette with a nice creamy effect
it's a sunny day in tennessee and i'll probably be heading for a shade tree before i'm finished with this cigar.
check out my new hat. thanks jim (JDG)
1/3 of the way in and the wow factor is alive and well! creamy cedar, cocoa with light spice and a touch of grassy tobacco are making me smile. still burning great and putting out tons of smoke
1/2 way and not much has changed, unless you count the smile on my face getting bigger.
the flavors are all right up front and honest and still producing a lot of smoke.
if you lit this cigar in a crowded room, the only friends you would have would be cigar smokers, but that's alright, cigar smoker's make the best friends. know where i got this cigar? yep, traded with a friend for it!
2/3 in with cedary cocoa and spicy grassy tobacco flavors still happening. definitely a full bodied full strength cigar. i'm glad i ate before smoking this one!
3/4 and the flavors have mixed it up a little. spicy cedar is leading grassy tobacco now. creamy is lighter, but still there. very solid ash, hasn't fell yet. gotta lose the band soon
last couple of inches and i can feel it,it's getting stronger the closer to the nub it gets.
spice has kicked it up a notch, leading the way for the cedary cocoa. grassy is lighter, tobacco and light cream are still there. the ash fell while i was removing the band
nubbing it with a tear in my eye. i have a love/hate relationship with the nub. love the taste, but hate that it's nearing the end.
it has been an hour and a half of smoking pleasure that i would give a 90 something if i was a score keeper. a must try for any opus fan!
thanks for reading, hope you enjoy the review!
