Appearance:
Corojo wrapper with undisclosed binder and filler. Solid construction with light give on pinch, medium brown wrapper and medium veins with perfect draw.
Nose:
Marzipan, leather, honey, sweet tea, raisin
Cold draw flavors:
Nuttiness and sweet tobacco
1st third:
Salty white pepper 5/10, Dark cherry/coffee roasted bean and a bit of must round out the first third.
Second third:
Spice disappears on palate but remains on retrohal. Dark raisin sweetness continues, peppery greens kick in on later end of this third.
Last third:
Floral hints, smoky wood, grassy hay sweetness, licorice and almonds. Loads of leather kick in at the end of this cigar.
Final notes:
1 hour smoke time. Very enjoyable smoke. Solid ash, No burn issues or touch ups needed at all. Ample smoke output. I Would buy again! 5 pack worthy.
