  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

It would run all the time though....

Off Clip-on
Not necessarily. Be easy enough to convert to a 3 volt power supply and a standard outlet timer. If it's used in a vinotemp it could be tied into the thermostat circuit.

In fact the solar outdoor lights for walkways found at your local HD or Lowes has 2 AA rechargeables and a solar charger in their circutry. Wire those bad boys in and it would charge during the day and run at night.

"Each refill provides up to 12 hours of head-to-toe protection."

....and you get two refills with each unit which would mean 24 hours of protection....but will the batteries in the unit run for a longer period, I wouldn't think you would need to replace the batteries every time you put a new refill in.

Good luck finding them though. I work at a Home Depot and we've been sold out of them for weeks. Funny thing is, when I first saw them, I was thinking the same thing: will this replace the oust fan? I may wind up using a lot of mosquito repellent products for my cigar habit. My ash tray is already one of those mosquito coil holders :).

I picked up two before they became scarce, thanks to a great brother, MAV sd, I was able to solve my problem with three Oust fans!
