  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Or The "Over-used"...

News reported this a.m. that a few words are "banned" or not recommended for use in 2011.

Among the list;

Viral
Epic
Refudiate
(among others...)

And a phrase or two;

The American people
I'm just sayin'
(among others.)

I rarely use any of the above, but I'd be happy as hell if football commentators would stop using "He threw the receiver open..." The QB throws it to a spot that the WR has to move to in order to make the catch, thus, gettin himself open. It's been happening for 100 years, but this year it had to have a catchy phrase, and it seems like once I heard it, every freakin' bobble-head on TV has to use it 4-5 times per game.

Anyway, here's a phrase that will live on forever... [/andyrooney]

Happy New Year! :riflefire
