Luva Sweet Easy Retrohale
Smoked my first Padilla La Terraza tonight, a maduro churchill, rested 8 months.
My notes:
Well-constructed, excellent burn, decent smoke production. Very meaty/savory, with the aroma of mesquite barbecue smoke, but very smooth, not the least bit acrid. Hints of chocolate and fruit, but they're very muted. Decent richness and complexity.
In general, I like these flavors, but, for me, this blend is unbalanced - it has too much of the meaty/savory and not enough of the sweeter flavors. However, if you like cigars that don't have much sweetness, this might be a home run, and a spectacular deal at $17.50 plus shipping for a 10-pack. If you're looking for pepper, avoid this blend; it has none.
