  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

This cigar is rolled in Miami by Don Pepin using Nicaraguan Criollo tobacco for the binder and filler and Nicaraguan Corojo for the wrapper.

The first thing you notice when looking at this cigar is it's beautiful reddish-tan silky smooth wrapper. It has a very fine dark tooth and it's perfectly constructed.

This cigar amazed me from first light to finish as to the amount of balance from the contrasting flavors I noted while smoking. There were sweet fruity notes mixed with salt, and spicy woody flavors mixed with earth and coffee, all harmoniously bound in clouds of smoke.

This really is an absolutely amazing cigar, but it's not cheap (I paid $13 for a single) and they are hard to find. However, it's a MUST try for Habanos smokers, as they will see that not all NC's will leave that funny aftertaste most smokers of Cubans speak of.

They are really onto something with the Miami line!

Smoked a laguito, a robusto, and a salomone.

Pleasantly surprised by all!

Excellent cigar with great flavor, draw and finish.
Ditto, these are really great cigars. I too pay in the unlucky $13 range in B&M's around here. They can be had for quite a bit cheaper if you do some shopping. Quite often they are up for bid on the devil site and can be bought for well under MSRP.

I had to send a 5 pack back for damage and received the replacement last week as well as 2 more fivers. Smoked one yesterday and feel they have real promise. It was "OK" considering it was a NC, but I really liked the flavor profile and can see real promise for these with a little age. A definite buy recomendation from me!
