  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

This 6×54 belicoso stick offered a very straighforward espresso and nut flavor profile, with a slight pepper heat on the finish that built up as it went along. The body gained momentum from mild to medium to the band point, at which I stopped. A burn issue at the 1/2 way point prompted a partial relight, and it recovered and burned normally after that. More in the video!

Horrible cigar from Padilla. Flavor was lacking, construction is poor. Good thing for Padilla, he has the 1932, 1948 and 1968 lines. The wonderful thing about cigars is there are 1380 brands worldwide, so different smokes for different folks.

Thanks for the review.

Bill, I think the Obsidian is not so bad, IMO. I like 'em well enough when I want that espresso/charcoal taste. Burn problems are minor, and that's what torches are for, I guess, anyhow.
And I picked up my few batches from CI at rediculously low prices, so that's a plus. They do improve with age as well.

Now speaking of CI, they actually have the 1932, 1948 and 1968 on a package deal this week: four of each (12 cigars) for $29.99 !!!

Very hard to beat.

I try to lean towards constructive criticism.
Might be a good idea to jump on that one pronto, guys and gals. :cjump:
