Padilla Signature 1932
The wrapper has a nice light chocolate color to it with a couple veins running through it but nothing to obtrusive. The prelight draw is nice with minimum resistance.
The first quarter inch I was hit with a strong spice and cocoa flavor. It had a nice kick to it but wasn't over powering. I feel the cigar transitioned significantly after the first inch. The spice died down quite a bit and a woody flavor started to come out into the mix along with the cocoa.
The second third mellowed out a lot and a earthy flavor came into the mix. I would say at this point it is mostly a woody and earthy flavor with small hints of cocoa and a slight sweetness I can't quite put my finger on. I am also getting some spice here and there sporadically.
The last third is staying pretty consistent with the second but the spice has kicked up just a tad and the sweetness has come through a little more. The sweetness seems to be maybe a little fruity. I still can't quite figure it out.
Final Thought- I really would be happy if I paid more for this smoke but it is really a fair priced smoke. The cigar is very complex and is a medium to medium/full body in my opinion. Its definitely worth a try in my book.
