  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Padres fought hard....

I know a couple of you watched the wild card playoff last night. OMG that was a crazy game. I love it when the entire season relies on one game. Both the Padres and the Rockies were 5 minutes from the of season for 13 innnings. I was jumping out of my chair when the Padres went up by 2 in the top of the 13th. Then I went to bed a sad boy, when the rockies scored 3 in the bottom of the 13th to take the wild card spot. The Rockies had a home run taken away mid game when it was decided it did not make it over the wall. I think it was over, but I'm a couch riding referee. Then the game ended with a controversial play at home. Did the runner even touch home plate? I think not...

This is why I'm a playoff fan. the season is 162 games in and it all came down to 1 runner.

 I saw the highlights on ESPN and I would have hated to be a Padres fan then.

If the Padres had stepped it up a little against the Brewers then this whole thing would never have had to happen.

But I'm really glad it did! Padres did play a good game tho.
I'm glad I picked up some Rockies playoff tickets when they first came out, cause I'm sure they're hard to come by now!
