  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

A match made in heaven.

Last night, I treated myself two these fine gems in their respective industries and wow!

The beer had a strong coffee, musky chocolate, and a chalky aroma. Greeted with some slight bitterness that fades as a full roasted and chocolaty flavor profile that opened up almost to the end.

The stick. Oh, the stick.

Thick, chewy smoke billowed from this beauty right from the start. I detect espresso, spice, sweetness, and chocolate (Could it be the beer? I doubt it). A few puffs later and I detect cinnamon and nutmeg.

Told you this was a match made in heaven...at least for me.

Entering into the 2/3 point, the spice settles down and it is more of a creamy espresso. In fact, the cigar is so smooth that I am wondering if there is any nicotine in it at all.

The cigar and the beer never clash once and their complex nuances play well off of each other.

I highly recommend.

They both sound fantastic...especially the smoke...dunno why I have been overlooking padron as of late when they are definitely one of my favorites...

Thanks for sharing brother.

Love the Young's. Haven't had the Padron yet. I should splurge and get one.

Try a Young's Double Chocolate float w/vanilla bean ice cream. delicious!
