  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Anyone know anything about these? I can't seem to find any reference to this vitola anywhere, save for 1 website (cigars-review.com or something like that) who's validity i'm not sure about.

i've had a couple, not a great cigar.. its basically a partagas petite corona especiales, but the especiales are 10x bettor.. i dont know why, maybe a differnt blend or the tubo just ruins the taste of this cigar.

The Petite Corona was discontinued in 2002. Did the Tubos version replace it? This is the first time I have seen these. . .:dunno:

This site? http://www.cigars-review.org/Partagas-Petit-Coronas-Tubos.htm

That site is legit.

I have one but have not smoked it yet.
yeah, thats the site

i burned this last week, not too bad, it had a nice taste to it, good and spicy, but i havent been smoking much at all lately (its still snowing here, WTF?!?!) and i havent had a CC since last summer (not gonna waste them in the cold) so i don't have much of a reference point to base it against

burn was not the best, but also far from the worst, draw was slightly on the tight side, but OK

also, is there any sort of reference for the acronyms/abbreviations used on the brand/size guide on the habanos website?
I know a few, but not all of them.

" Montecristo No.2 CB-UW-C/L-12,13-n-25 "
That let's you know how they are boxed. I forget all the abbreviations but what it boils down to is a row of 12 and a row of 13 for a box of 25.

There are others that say c/p 5-10-50 which means that there will be a cardboard box of 5, shipped 10 to a box for 50, or like the c/p for Edmundos would be c/p 3-5-15...or something like that.

good site, forgot about that one, i found info about the partagas petit corona tubo there (listed as a machine-made that has been discountinued bottom of page, 'M-R') but still nothing referencing the habanos SA 'codes' like this example " Montecristo No.2 CB-UW-C/L-12,13-n-25 "
that explains it, those are machine made, the partagas PCE today is handmade... thats why i didn't like the tubo's

Yeah, they have pretty much everything you could want to know about cuban cigars on there. A lot of the stuff is taken directly from MRN's book, I think. They even have pics and info on upcoming lines, like the Cohiba Maduro and new REs and ELs.
