As a Colts fan I would love to think that Peyton would have driven them down the field, but in reality with one time out, the two minute warning, and just over 2 minutes left it was very unlikely.
The league average for a game wining drive over 75 yards with around two minutes resulting in a touchdown is about 28%, with Peyton maybe it goes up to 45%, but in any either case it is not even close to the odds of Peyton only having to go 28 yards.
Plus keep in mind that yes Indy scored quickly on two drives of over 70 yards in the fourth quarter before that; however, one was helped out by a questionable PI call, and Peyton also tossed two INT's in that game already, with one or two more that could have, and maybe should have been.
Again I am an Indy fan, and I was screaming "NO" when Billy Boy went for it, but when I realized the spot was in our favor, and they had no time outs to toss out that little red flag, I was screaming thank you IDIOT.
Sorry for the rant, now back to your regularly scheduled program.
