  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Hello Famliy,

My good Friend Kevin owns Silo Cigars and I thought it may be of service to my family here at BOTL to help all of us out by posting the details. I know you can take advantage of this stuff via phone order. You can tell him Matt sent ya.

Kevin writes:

Yep my good friend Pete from Tatuaje cigars will be at Silo Cigars April 24th from 4-9pm. This is his only stop in Tennessee so be sure to come visit. We have a ton of new release stuff coming in for the event and Pete is bringing a killer package of swag for everyone that purchases a box of his smokes. The swag includes a Custom Hat, Patch, Pin, Cutter and 3 pack of Black Robustos (only available at the event). Depending on how busy we are some substitutions on the swag may occur. Pete will be signing all items purchased from the Tatuaje Family of products so if you have never met Pete or have talked to him before this is the only chance this year you will get to see him in TN.

I consider Pete to be one of the pioneers in the new full-bodied trend of cigars, his vision to team up with a unheard-of manufacturer (at the time) and to keep things true to the Cuban Cigars really sparked Don Pepins fame and led to his first Highly Rated cigar with national acclaim. Everyone knows Don Pepins name now but back in the day everyone knew Tatuaje (even though they couldn't pronounce it) before they knew who made the Tatuaje brand of products. More details below

Pete Johnson owner and creator of Tatuaje, La Riqueza, Cabaiguan, Ambos Mundos and El Truinfador will be here at Silo Cigars 4-9p on Friday April 24, 2009. Pete will be bringing some new cigars (Cojonu 2009), (Regio Reservas) event-only releases, and other rarities. During the event we will be offering a free Nobles with a purchase of 3 of Pete's cigars. Box purchasers will be treated to a swag pack consisting of a hat, patch, cutter, pin as well as 3 Tatuaje Black Robustos (only available at events). Pete's even allowing us to offer an extra prize for multi-box purchases!

Silo will also have tattoo artist John Russell from LC Ink on hand throughout the event for those that want a little spot of ink like "Tattoo Pete" Johnson. We will be offering deli sandwiches too - while they last!

This is one Silo Event you will not want to miss!

Glad Pete is showing up at your event, he sent his flunkie to the Tabacco barn.
I am so sorry to hear that.

I do not mean to mislead, so in the attempt to always be transparent to my family here, I do not live in Tenesse were Silo is, I live in Michigan. Kevin the owner is a good friend of mine and I am only exposing the event to my family here becuase we all love Pete and I wanted to introduce you to a great store.

Sorry if I made that unclear. I will not be at the event, but you can bet I WILL be buying Tats that day:stretchgr.

I asked Kevin what Pete is bringing to the event, he replies:

Pete is bringing a few things people haven't seen or heard of yet

I also have pretty much all the sizes of La Riqueza cabs for the event as well. Notice I said almost

Oi! I like them! I just like when we have someone who doesn't. Makes us have the other side's point of view. And he IS a marketing genius.

I heard from someone that was at an event Pete was at that 3 guys had their noses broken. Sounds dangerous at these events.

I heard that at the Outlaw event two elderly women in wheelchairs touched Pete and got up and walked again and he cured another of her arthritis.
