  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

This cigar was an absolute treat this afternoon. I was excited to try this cigar because of my prior knowledge with the PDR line. I clipped the cigar and took a nice dry pull. There were notes of spice and cedar. I figured there was no time like the present to fire this bad boy up!

1/3: the lancero lights up nicely and immediately releases full flavors. I noticed a nice pepper that fit the bill. The draw was very nice; open an produced a ton of smoke with each pull. I had a few re-lite issues, however the burn was razor sharp, and the construction was near perfect.

2/3: was much of the same, with full flavors and a powerful spice that was picking up with each pull. Abe hit the nail on the head with this lancero. The burn is still razor sharp, and the re-lite issue has fizzled! This cigar is quickly becoming a staple in my daily smoking!*

3/3: the final third was very nice, however a meal is recomended before smoking this cigar:) I thourghly enjoyed the final third, as the spice picked up, and more cedar was released.*

This cigar is a must try for anyone who likes a full bodied, full flavored cigar. Abe has slated himself and PDR as a player with this Habano Sun Grown lancero. I could see this cigar working it's way into my weekly line up!*

I just tried my first one and I LOVE THIS CIGAR !!!!! I am a HUGE spice fan and this fit that profile 100%. I love Pepin for that spice kick but this may be the king of spice.

Nice long finish leaves your palate, tongue and lips tingling. I'm ordering a bundle tomorrow.

Only one thing ... I wish that they made a Corona Especial . The lancero consumes about 1 1/2 hrs minimum. A Corona Especial would give about the same flavor profile but less smoking time.

So whadda ya say .... toma en cuenta una Corona Especial, por favor.

Awesome cigar, IMHO the Oscuro is even better. About that Corona Especial, shoot Abe a pm. You never know.

Great, I'm glad you enjoyed the cigar! It is fantastic if you have the time to devote to it. Abe really has a knack for blending...
