Was camping last week and brought one of those Harbor Freight electric tennis racket flyswatters but thought this would be even more fun.

It is.

Not much of a shot spread and very limited range, but I brought it out to the chicken coop to try it out and it's quite fun blasting flies out of the air. Worked on a spider too. I'm really looking forward to moths tonight.

What is it? How's it work? And where'd you get it?
Bug-A-Salt http://bugasalt.com

Works like a spring action bb gun but loads salt instead of a single projectile. So its like a salt shotgun. Shoots out a tiny bit of salt from a reservoir every shot. The salt has just enough energy to drop a small insect

Ordered a pair of em from the manufacturer online.

Update. Some small moths get knocked down but then fly away. Doesn't even touch beetles or larger insects.

Pretty much only works on flies.

Kinda bummed but still fun.

Ok, really small moths fluttering around the floodlights explode in a satisfying plume of dust when hit with the salt. Doing it right by the light makes for a very satisfying poof
