That's funny! I think I stepped on someones toes over at CW when I said it was a marcketing ploy and asked for the paper trail they claimed to follow it back to the mother land.

Well, I never tried one of those and I don't know what ass taste like, but I smoked a few pre-embargo Gurkhas that were a pretty decent cigar.

NO WAY are they worth the price, but nicely constructed, medium strength, plenty of smooth smoke, but one dimensional and nothing like a modern day isom.

The owner of Pinar lives in my town. His warehouse is a town over. I run into him at the B&M sometimes. Last Friday I ran into him at the Fexex store. The guy behind the counter made a funny remark about him smelling like cigar smoke.

I smoked a 3000 DC when in Boston last summer and though I liked it. Bought a box on line and still have most of them. Just not a great cigar.

I bought two sticks to try before finding this site for about $21 total. Maybe my next PIF will include the remaining ass flavored pre-embargo Cuban Cigar.
