After a hectic week at work I decided to sit back and relax in the shed, heater full blast with some Blues on and do my first review. Got this one in a trade with hdroadglide.
Start time 9:35pm
The foot smells exactly like dark chocolate.
Very heavy and well packed with one large vein and a crimped foot.
I used my punch but found it to have a tight draw then cut with my Xiar. That helped a lot and the draw is where I want it, just enough to get a good amount of thick white smoke. I lit the cigar with my triple flame lighter and got a good toast in about 30 seconds.
the first few puffs put out a very strong spice that sits in the back of my throat. Room aroma is sweet and spicy.
1st 1/3rd
Musky earthy tones under all the spice. Long finish, really coats the pallet. A little in the spice starts fading somewhat and I taste toasty nuts. A slight fruity sweetness starts to hit and the burn just a little off. Further down the spice has faded considerably, still a sweet fruity taste i cant nail down. Very smooth now with a creamy finish. I think I nailed the flavor to a dark cherry. The thick ash dropped at just over an inch. Sweet chocolate flavors coming in.
2nd 3rd even more mellow almost like another cigar, sweet bread flavor coming in, gets more prevalent as time goes on.
Final 3rd
I had to purge since it was getting little harsh which fixed the issue. Pretty constant with the sweet bread flavors becoming more and more apparent.

This was a great cigar, exactly what I needed, in the shed warm as can be listening the blues, folk, jazz and bluegrass live on NPR radio while on chat. A great and peaceful ending to a crazy week!
