Pipe Stories

Give me some pipe stories to ponder... surely you have to have at least one or three.

The other night I was thoroughly enjoying a Las Calaveras 550 by Crowned Heads. Wouldn't you know, the nub fit perfectly inside a MM Cob. I wedged the lit nub inside and smoked it until about an 1/8" was left of the nub. The next day, I decided since I enjoyed smoking that nub so much out of a pipe, that I would smoke an entire cigar out of one. I have to admit, I looked pretty goofy smoking a toro sized cigar out of a pipe, but I don't care! I will do it again.

Actually, not too long ago that was a fairly common occurrence (or so I am told). You can still buy pipes that are primarily meant to hold a cigar. I think most of the ones still made come out of China.
