Since it has been cold lately I have been smoking a pipe. Yesterday I put on some warm cloths and fired up a Pepin black label. I know the cold had something to do with it, but I didn't enjoy this stick as much as I should have. Has anyone else noticed a difference switching from pipe to cigar? If so how long does it take to get my pallate back in shape? Thanks for your help.

Nah...I switch back and forth frequently, and sometimes even daily...never noticed a difference...perhaps it was your cigar? Pipe tobaccos and cigars are both combustibles with different tastes...and when I smoke the pipe I taste the pipe tobacco as it should be and the same goes for when I smoke a cigar..no difference in taste for me from either...
