Smoke on the Mountain

We are in the process of coordinating a rather large Cigar Event in the Pocono Mountains of PA. The event will be held in Bushkill, PA which is right over the Delaware Water Gap Bridge. It is 90 minutes from NYC and Philadelphia. There are tons of things for the family to do in the area.

There will be a multitude of Cigar & Accessory Manufacturers,Single Malt Scotch, Premium Beer, and Wine exhibits, raffles, lots of FREE cigar giveaways and much more.

A VIP dinner with "Cigar Dignitaries",a round of golf (available on the event premises), overnight room discounts at top local resorts and hotels and an incredible country backdrop will certainly make this an event to remember. The cost for this Cigar Spectacular will be between $150-$200 of which a portion of the proceeds will be donated to charity.

We are actively working with Rocky Patel, J.Fuego, CAO, La Aurora, Camacho, General Cigar, Altadis, La Perla Habana to name a few. We will also have one of the big golf manufacturers and possibly high end auto makers present. This event will be a lot of fun. The VIP dinner will be 1st class and the "dignitaries" are TBD.

We will be contributing to the Make a Wish Foundation.

We are still in the development stage of the event, and are working to finalize details.

We are trying to gauge a level of interest (from your emails) in this event to aide in the planning.

Sorry about that. I am so excited about this event that I forgot my manners.

I am a long time cigar enthusiast (20+ years) and a long time lurker on this site. It is always a pleasure after a long day to light up a great smoke and check out what 's happening on the BOTL forums.

After attending a large cigar event in NYC, and being extremely disappointed, I decided to gather all of my resources and tap into my event planning experience to create a REAL cigar event. One that has a lot to offer, and will be a lot of fun.

I would appreciate any input as to what everyone would like to see at this event.

The event will take place at the end of this summer in Bushkill, PA. The venue that has been secured is located at the Mountain Laurel Center . It is an amazing facility right on the lake with an adjacent golf course. The date has not yet been finalized , but it will take place sometime at the end of the summer.
