Police Officer shot to death

Well guys, it's happened again. A police officer was shot and killed in the line of duty last night. Apparently it was during a routine traffic stop. Last Feb an officer from an adjoining town was shot in the neck after a vehicle chase following a jewelry store robbery. Both times, it happened within a couple of miles from where I lived (parent's house last year, my apt. now). Stuff like this makes you realize you just never know what can happen next.
