The pollen is one thing. Then there's the maple twirly things. I've been inundated with them. They're bad every year but this is the worst in the 7 years I've been in this house. The wretched things drive me nuts. they clog the gutters, get stuck in the space beneath the windsheild wipers of the car, cover my flower beds and burrow their foul little selves into the gravel in my driveway making it look like crap.
I've blown two 30 gallon trashcans full out of the driveway and they're back all over it again. So far I've raked another can and a half out of the worst spots in the yard and have a bunch to go. I haven't even started on the flower beds and gutters yet. I have to get as many up as I can before I mulch or I'll have a million baby maple trees coming up through the mulch.

I call those maple things helicopters. And those F'ing stringy ones from the oaks are all over the inside of my car. I left the windows open yesterday to air out the gar small. The wind yesterday afternoon kicked up blowing them inside the car and made the black upholstery look like $hit.

I hate all that green stuff - coats everything every year. We have lots of oak trees so we have the green crap and the stringy seed stuff every year. My wife keeps wanting to put gutters on the house, and I keep telling her that I'm not cleaning them.
