  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I need to solicit some opinions on these sticks. I'm finally going to go ahead and place an order here shortly and was wondering if these were good or if I should just save my money? The vitola looks interesting and the entry price is low and I was thinking about tacking this onto my order. I have read up on here and I have seen that the general opinion is that anything Por Larranga needs 3-5 years in most cases before they start to shine. I don't mind waiting if the end product is really good but if not I'd rather just save my money or grab something else.

I do enjoy these a lot. But after trying the Montecarlos, I'd rather throw in the extra cash to get the latter.

I have had some really good ones and some really bad ones. Most of the problems were draw issues. When they are on, they are great. Personally, I would go with Petite Corona over the panatella.

They smoke great fresh and age nicely. I, too, though, would choose( or add to the current order or future order) the montecarlos. They are a real sleeper in the whole habanos offering. Very tasty cigar that age elegantly.

Love em to death. I can't think of anything in the same price range that beats it. $62/box is pretty amazing.

This is what I was hoping to hear. At the $60/box price I feel like its something easy to tack on an order. I understand that sure, the montecarlos may be better but at $100/box I no longer feel if its just something to tack onto an order.

Also, there was a blind reviews thread of them fairly recently. Should be in the most recent couple pages of the Habanos Review section.

Thanks for the opinions everyone, I will definitely be tacking a box of these onto my order and will look to grab the montecarlos sometime in the near future.
