King Kill 33
BoM Dec '13
1-B
Smoke Time: 45 minutes
Corona Gorda/Cuban Corona
Construction - Good construction, very nice size. Dry wrapper with zero shine to it. Fairly veiny with no soft spots.

Pre-light Draw - Not too much going in here. Kinda light hay/toast. Wonderful effortless draw though.
First Draw lit - high spice and with sweetness and grass on the first two puffs.

1st 3rd - Heavy pepper on the retro. Grassiness from start begins to fade. Beautiful burn with a lovely ash, but it had trouble hanging on past first inch. Flavor shifts to very dry, kinda toasty with minimal sweetness. Neutral flavors that starts to leave a sour taste on my tongue.

2nd 3rd - Odd flavors start to come thru as sourness amps up. Not enjoying the taste but the burn on this cigar is phenomenal. Might be one of the best burning smokes I've had. Noticed tar coming out so I clipped it off. Kept on trucking but the flavors are just way out of my wheelhouse. Sourness of cigar is too much to handle. Mu'd before I got to the final third.

3rd 3rd - Never got to this point...
Final Thoughts:
Started out ok, but went downhill from there. It reminded me of a cheap Fuente. It wasn't the tar that made me chuck it, just the dry and sour taste. Not a fan. One thing I really did enjoy was the draw and burn on this smoke. That was very nice. Maybe the Bucs late game magic threw me off, but I think this cigar just didn't have much going for it.
