Hey I would like to thank whoever posted about purging the cigar. I had never done this before and wow does it make the last third of cigar sooo much better. I cant believe how much better it tastes. :stretchgr

I used to do this often years ago, but I don't recall the last time I purged a stick. I think after the years you just learn to enjoy the later part of a cigar as well without purging.

Also, I think that as you learn to smoke the cigar more slowly and learn more about proper humidification, the need to purge decreases.

I agree with what all of you said. I sometimes just don't the time needed to devote to the cigar. I think it really helps with the cheaper smokes I have and not the Pepins, Fuente's, etc.
