Why is Punch's Rare Corojo cigar called a "Rare Corojo" when (according to Punch's web site) there is no corojo tobacco in it?

I love Punch cigars, and I am sure this is another fine one, but I am OCD over accuracy.

There’s a version known as Corojo ‘99 that is grown in most of South America, including Ecuador. It’s derived from the last native Cuban priming from 1999. I would guess that’s the wrapper.

actually it's not even a Punch.
It's really a Partagas .......
Same components,different band.
But to be totally accurate,neither cigar is either brand........
good thing you don't smoke Cuban cigars,you would completely lose your mind.

They change the blend every year. It started with a corojo but differed every year.

Stick with the Gran Puro, they are true to their advertising and...IMHO...quite a good value. They need some rest before they smoke really well but worth a shot if you like the NC punch sticks.

When the Rare Corojo was first released I smoke a few of them and always enjoyed them. I pay more attention to how a cigar tastes rather than what tobacco is used to make it.
