FYI... I reached out to a German vendor and asked for an update and he said he hasn't heard anything and has no idea what the hold up is. For a 2014 RE, it's almost 2016!?!

These 898's are the unicorn of cigars right now. I have been closely watching waiting their release since late 2014. I hear the 2004 898's were something else. Anyway, no one has a solid answer on these. They will either disappear with the wind or be released when I'm on vacation and have no internet access.

Just a heads up. I went by the LCDH in Cologne on Saturday and there wasn't anything there. It's only my second time in there so maybe he was being al little shy, but he didn't leak too much information regarding these to me.

Going to have to go back in next week and see if there are any boxes there.

Looks like 2 of the LCDH within an hour of me got them in yesterday. Or at least that is what was posted.

They are looking for 350 Euro for a box. I might have to pass on this one but I'll head down and see if maybe they open a box for singles.

I went and stopped in today, they had 5 left of the 50 they got yesterday. They are 337.50 Euro a box. If someone wants one I can grab it for them tomorrow but after that I don't think they will be around. We would have to talk how to get it to you as well.

Smoked one this weekend. While not as enthused as Nino, I did think it was a good young cigar with some good potential. Now to find a box somewhere.
