I received a stick in a NHIE package from RamzaFreak20 back in September. I've never done a review and I don't ever really pick up on very specific notes while I smoke. So, here we go:

Location: the front porch.
Weather: 56 deg, partly cloudy with a gentle breeze.
Drink: Sweet Tea
Storage: 65% since 9-12-14
First impressions:
Size - 7 x 54 ?
Construction looks good. Medium brown wrapper with a few visible veins.
Features a tight and even pack, a pigtail cap and a closed foot.
Feels fairly hefty in the hand. Prelight aroma is a sweet, musty hay. Cold draw is very good, giving just a small amount of resistance. Picking up light, sweet tobacco and a slight spice on the lips.
Start time 12:45PM
Went with a straight cut and torch for the light. Sparked up nicely. On the first few draws I'm getting hay, cedar, and a tobacco, all with a simple underlying sweetness. Medium spice on the finish and a nice white pepper on the retrohale. Perfect draw with very good smoke output.

Getting a nice spicey twang on the draw and finish. Nice and even burn. Smoke is very light in texture and leaving a slightly dry feeling in my mouth.

Getting a ramped up pepper on the draw and finish, but it's fairly smooth. Picking up on that slight sweetness (might be the sweet tea
)Feeling the pepper in my throat and chest. Performance still very admirable, no complaints.

We're bout halfway. More pepper with a hidden note of bitter chocolate. Small strength buzz. Switching to water because my son Dylan has "shared" my tea all gone.

At this point it's starting to get bitter. Not burning hot at all. Decided to try purging it.

Purging didn't help. Still the same great preformance, but I had to put it down here with about two inches left. Just straight bitterness. No good.
Overall impressions:
I usually prefer smaller sticks. This one was huge to me. First 2/3 was a decent experience. Good flavors, but nothing really unique. Pretty typical "cigar" flavors. Construction and performance was fantastic throughout. I would say medium body and strength. Probably not one I would smoke again. If I had to throw a number out there, I'd say around 82.
This was a fun learning experience for me. Thanks to RamzaFreak20 for the stick and the opportunity. Hopefully he still remembers which stick this is. Lol. Let me know what y'all think.
