  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Yeah I know he's a has-been and no one really cares, but I liked the guy as a QB and really think he was a better man. Sad story to pass along...

- Cunningham's son drowns in hot tub

Some terribly sad news to pass along. The 2-year-old son of former Vikings quarterback Randall Cunningham drowned in the family's hot tub, according to this Las Vegas Review-Journal story.

According to the story, Christian Cunningham was found floating in the hot tub in the backyard of the family's home in Las Vegas. Christian would have turned 3 in December.

Cunningham became an ordained minister after retiring from football and is pastor of Remnant Ministries in Las Vegas. The story said Cunningham performs baptisms in the hot tub at his home.

Christian was found by a woman at Cunningham's home. Several other children also were present. She began performing CPR until paramedics arrived and took Christian to a local hospital where he died.

We send our deepest condolences to the Cunningham family.

So tragic. Cunningham almost took my Vikings to the Superbowl and he has been doing good things since he retired. For anyone to lose thier kids is just wrong.

It is always sad to hear when things like this happens. Now that I have a young child (3 yr old) at home it is even more so. Hearing these stories just breaks my heart. I try to imagine what I would be going through if something happened to my daughter but I know anything that I imagine probably doesn't even come close to the sadness and dispair that the family is feeling right now. We will be praying for the Cunningham family.
