  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I just thought of this so bear with me if it goes off the rails.

Smoking a Aquitaine Knuckle Dragger. Listening to Anthrax's 'For all kings'. Drinking a local beer; Infamous Brewing IPA (amazing IPA if youre in Texas. Get some.)

Onwards and upwards...

Initial light reveals chocolate and leather. I love this.

I'm about 10 mins behind real time at this point so I'll catch yall up...

At about 1/4" in I get some gharam cracker notes. The chocolate dies off.
I've had to touch it up twice after the inital roasting.

If I puff aggressively I get a hot burn (duh) and lots of pepper/spice.

I'm now about 20 mins into it.
No more touch ups needed. Burn is a little off but not bad.
I'm getting chocolate again, some tobacco, a hint of leather, maybe some cedar, and now spice. And a hint of dog.

It's mellowed a bit now. The leather and tobacco is now at the forefront. No more spice. Getting hot to the touch and on the puff. Best ash I've had in a while.
