The Padron x000 line (any of them are good) and also the Carlos Torano line has some excellent cigars in them.

If you prefer lighter sticks go with the smaller numbers, but when you are ready to step it up, try the ones that you like in Maduro....

enjoy, and let us know what you think

I always recommend the Fuente Chateau to the newer folks. I think they're a nice consistent cigar and not a bad price at $70 for a box of 20.
Give'em a shot.

Good, cheap smokes in-bulk...suitable 'everyday' cigars:

Pirate's Gold by Rolando Reyes - No. 2 Corona Maduro

Arturo Fuente Curly Head Deluxe Maduro
http://www.jrcigar.com/index.cfm?page=cig_view&itemcode=AFCUD3

Trilogy ''Old School'' Tri-Press (all 3 are good)
http://www.cigarsinternational.com/prodDisp.asp?item=CS-0S&cat=3

If you're looking to walk into your local b&m cigar store, check out some of these cigars (these are all mild to medium in strength):

Arturo Fuente - Chateau Fuente
Arturo Fuente - Hemingway Short Story
Cuesta Rey - Centenario
Carlos Torano Exodus 1959 - Silver
Cusano 18 - Double Connecticut
Gurka - Ancient Warrior
K. Hansotia - Signature
La Gloria Cubana - Wavell
Oliva - Serie 'O' and Serie 'G'
Padron - 2000/3000/4000
REO (an affordable smoke by Rocky Patel)

If you want to try some bolder cigars, take a look at some of these maduros:

CAO Brazilia
Gurka "G3" Triple Ligero
Gispert Maduro
Hoyo Excalibur 1066 - Dark KNight
Partagas Black
Punch - Rothschild Maduro Maduro

This is just a quick off-the-top-of-my-head list of few cigars that I personally have enjoyed, but odds are you'll like some and dislike some. Just don't be afraid to experiment--oh, and don't be afraid to ask the opinion of the Tobaccionist at the store. They'll do everything they can to steer you in the right direction. Remember, there are 10,000+ cigars out there, and each is different--some VERY different. The more you smoke, the more you'll be able to narrow down what you like and what you don't.

Oh, and then there's the Dark Side... :eyequiver
