During these serious times, people of all faiths should remember these four religious truths:

1. Muslims do not recognize Jews as God's chosen people.

2. Jews do not recognize Jesus as the Messiah.

3. Protestants do not recognize the Pope as the leader of the Christian world.

4. Baptists do not recognize each other at Hooters.

There's some truth in that.

I grew up in a strict baptist environment where my dad was the principal at a Chrsitian school. We weren't allowed to go to the movies, certainly didn't listen to rock-n-roll, the genre of which barbars streisand was in, couldnt' where shorts at summer bible camp, swam with shirts on, hair was cut above the ears, etc., etc.

That might explain why my brothers had finger sex during church...in the auditorium! Why they shot cars with bb guns, stole stuff, graffitied everywhere, snuck out the house every night, loved KISS. I never did any of that stuff.

My parents admit it was a mistake now.
