I've been using PCAnywhere for years to help manage remote servers here at work ... but lately I've noticed that the software has been having problems (not connecting, hangups, poor file transfer performance, etc. )

Anyone else out there use remote control software?

I switched from PC Anywhere to Remotely Possible (I think that was the name) in my last 2 years as a Techie. It was really good for controlling remote Servers, and I'd ship machines out in Black-Box configuration with no local access at all. Worked through any VPN and at any screen resolution, although we left servers at 640x480 for speed of refresh rates. I don't know what it's called today.

Thanks for the suggestions - I'll check out some of these. I basically do remote support for several logistics centers. Mainly this involves custom application updates, weekly file transfers and general maintenance. They all run Windows, but a combination of NT4 and Win2000.
