restoring hidden icons on android tab

I have a samsung galaxy tab 2 tablet. I chose to hide the netflix icon a month ago before I became a netflix subscriber. now I can't figure out how to restore the icon. the app is still there, I just cannot start netflix without using an internet shortcut. android newb here.....thanks for any help.

Hard press on it and it will put it back into your home screen. Or go to your apps and there is a tab at the top of the page that says widgets. Hard press the widget and then it will pave it on your home screen. Hope this helps.

I cant hard press it as there is no icon anywhere other than the internet shortcut. It also is not in the widgets section. thanks for trying to help though
