EDIT: It's a 5 Vegas, not Vegas 5. If possible, could someone change it up for me? Thanks!
Alrighty there ladies and gents, yet another review from me!
Yesterday I smoked a 5 Vegas Miami that was gifted to me in a bomb from Liteumup. A delicious stick to say the least!
This stick measured a stubby 4.5'' at a thick 60 RG. Retail, these go for about $7.65 a piece. Very nice looking cigar! It had a medium brown wrapper, with nice small veins and absolutely no defects.
The pre-light draw was a touch tight in the beginning, but definitely loosened up as I smoked through this cigar.
Beautiful day at the University at Albany! Definitely a nice change from the frigid weather we've been having lately.
This cigar lit up with no troubles, and the burn seemed a bit choppy from the start. The burn, however, evened out within the first half inch, and stayed very consistent throughout the rest of the cigar.
The first third had a nice and spicy start. Very harsh spice through the nose, with a nice, woodsy flavor and tobacco undertones.
It had a creamy finish and aroma that was pleasant for the people sitting around me.
The spice definitely reduces at the start of the second third, but still prevalent.
At the end of the second third, earthiness pulls through and overpowers the initial woodsy flavor.
This cigar had medium to high volumes of smoke, and the ash held on for a while, but was a bit flaky in the wind.
Spice returns for a last fight within the final third of the stick, accompanied by the earthiness that I tasted during the second third.
This cigar was overall very good. I would give it a solid 84/100. Definitely would pick up one of these again, but not sure if I would dive into a box until I have more money and room for them!
Just about to step out to have a Gurkha Triple Ligero Toro, so you better keep your eyes peeled for that review within the next couple of days!!
Hope you guys enjoyed!
