  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Wrapper - Nice dark chocolate colored wrapper. Beautiful construction with a triple cap.

1/3 - The cigar is burning great and the I am getting a nice leathery profile with a touch of spice at this point. The spice is nice and subtle.

2/3 - The creaminess has kicked up a lot. The leather has subsided and getting a nice slight spiciness with some nutty flavors coming through. I have to say the portion of the cigar is getting pretty damn good.

Last Third - The last third is straight up creamy chocolate with nutty undertones.

Final Thoughts - It's a very good cigar and I will definitely have to get some more at some point. Honestly was very surprised. There are a lot of crap cigars out there that sometimes I feel like I have to sift through; this is not one of them. I would definitely recommend this smoke.

Just the kind of cigar I like...good short review. Who sells this cigar besides the manufacturer? I went to their site and keep getting a Certificate Security Error but the pricing seems good...5 for $37 but not sure what S/H might be?

Addendum: Just got through talking with Walter Santiago and this brand of cigars and the conversation was very interesting. They did fix the glitch in their software so being able to order is very easy...very streamlined and I did order the Toro Maduro 5 pak and he graciously is covering the S/H and sending some 'extras' for me to try out as well. I love talking to these guys as you can tell the passion they have for what they do and being a 'boutique' kind of business it's often hard to break into w/o having to deal with outside pressures from the Cigar Business as well. I have researched them and they have a really good program and being associated with Willy Herrera from DE is just a bonus. I look forward to trying out a lot of their brands and will put up reviews as well.
