Alright ladies and gents,
I smoked this stick a few days ago, and haven't gotten around to reviewing it until now. Lost of schoolwork, papers, girlfriend, you know...college!
Ok so on Sunday, I smoked my first RP Sun Grown Toro. This cigar measured in at a hefty 6.5'' and a 52 RG. It's medium to dark brown in color, and has a magnificently oily wrapper.
I got a pre-light flavor of sweet leather, tobacco, and hay.

It took a while to spark up...but burned evenly once it was ablaze.
1/3: This stick is remarkably smooth on the finish, and has just a bit of pepper through the nose. The flavors I am picking up at this point are some light leather flavors with a creamy undertone. The ash is light grey and is holding on pretty well. There is a sweet coffee-like nutty aroma emanating from the stick. Deeper in, the draw began to tighten up, probably from the cold. The ash fell at about the 1.5-2'' point. The flavors at this point are creamy and mocha-like, with a slight nuttiness. The spice in the retrohale are completely gone apart from a slight tingle at the end of the first third.

2/3: This third has similar flavors as the last third - woody leather with a sweet finish. Farther along, the wood aspect makes way for a earthy hay mixture with a sweet cedar finish.

3/3: The flavor profile of this cigar is remaining relatively similar to the previous thirds. There is a heavy earthy presence with some creamy wood on the finish.

I would put this cigar at medium bodied, and medium flavored. It was a solid cigar with a nice burn and nice aroma, but it just didn't fit my flavor profile. I guess I could see myself going for a stick like this for a change of pace, or a morning smoke.
Thanks for reading!
