  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I received this cigar as part of my winnings from last month's Premium Lottery Pool. Thanks javajunkie!

I smoked this cigar on Monday this week, while driving back to Iowa for my niece's 10th birthday. I was really impressed with this cigar. As I mention above, it reminded me of an Opus X, but without the same level of strength. If you're a fan of Fuente cigars, especially the FFOX line, I would recommend giving this cigar a go if you can find it. Definitely one I would love to smoke again, and see how some age changes them.

Nice review. Why the name Casa Cuba though?

Nevermind researched it myself. Funny though cuz I heard about this cigar from someone else the other day but they didn't know much except that Casa fuente would be having a cigar mixed with Cuban tobacco...lol now that I imagine this is the cigar he's talking about.

pretty sure your friend may be operating under misunderstood information. o). probably the smoke they were thinking of, though!

glad you liked it, man! had my first thanksgiving morning last year. i was actually a half hour late, sitting in my lot nubbing the thing before work (salary, they can bite me on holidays). your smoke was appropriated by a very classy gentleman this past late-july-ish.

JavaJunkie popped me one of these in the Newbie Trade Sampler... it was a very good smoke. Just like roach said... FFOX flavors but not as powerful and doesn't wipe out the taste buds for another stick like some of the FFOX will do.

Sean had/has a secret stash.

Are these due out soon? I know some of the anniversary stuff is getting pushed out to 2013 because of the fire.

EDIT: Are these going to be out in any other vitolas? Maybe a thinner RG?

I can't wait for the release of these cigars, they are delicious! I've been fortunate to smoke three so far and have enjoyed every one of them.
