Roach-klip: Oliva V Melanio Torpedo

Thanks again to javajunkie for including this cigar in the lottery package from last month.

I have really enjoyed Oliva V cigars, so I was looking forward to giving this cigar a try. The first two-thirds of the cigar were very good, but the last third started getting a little harsh. I wasn't able to finish the final third, as I would have liked to. I had to make a couple of stops driving back to Chicago on Wednesday, and I felt it would have been wrong to continue the review after a long period of it sitting. This is one I will definitely give another go, and I really want to see how the robusto or No. 4 smokes.

Love this format. I like the long reviews too as I think they are very informative, but the short and sweet nature of the Roach Clips are awesome. Been meaning to pick up some Melanios and after this review I think I will and let them sit for a bit. Nice review and thanks!!

Thanks guys. I appreciate it. I enjoyed doing some longer reviews....especially Shark Week...but really like this style. I sometimes think that the long reviews are just that...long. I wanted to make it short and sweet to get my feelings about the cigar out there quick. Plus, it makes it a little easier to put together when I do a few like I did this week.
