Roach-klip: Quesada Espana Lancero

I'm a huge fan of the Quesada Espana line, and even though I am not big on lanceros, I looked forward to trying this one. A big thanks to MUM for the cigar. Thanks bro!

I really enjoyed this one, and if it happens to be available at some point, I wouldn't hesitate to grab one again.

I actually smoked this one a little while ago. The times are right. I know, it is a long time for a lancero. Obviously it will vary for different people. If I am reviewing a cigar, I won't let it go out. Don't want that to affect anything.

Very cool kockroach... you definitely have given us some reading material for several weekends... it will be interesting to see how my notes compare to some of these sticks you have been reviewing. That said, I haven't smoked the Lancero format for this line.

Anyone know if these will ever be released? I would support such a release but it seems like Quesada has decided not to bring them out?

The Espanas were made for Spain, not the US. However, there are some shops that had persuaded the Quesadas to let them have access. However, those shops cannot advertise that they sell them.

I know this, as one shop had posted them in their on-line listing, they were contacted and asked to remove the listing, or they would not be able to re-order.

As far as the lancero...don't think it was made for anyone else other than the small batch that was requested. I could be wrong...but haven't seen them anywhere.

Right, I'm talking about the lancero specifically. I've bought the Espanas in other sizes before--actually just bought a box of the coronas.

I really really like the Espana lancero, but for me, the Corona is just a tad bit better...
