  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I bought some of these off CigarBid awhile back and have been working my way through them. This auction site is addicting, but you can get some very good deals if you are patient. I paid about $2.50 each for these, including shipping.

This cigar has a smooth, light brown wrapper with a few small veins. The roll was firm and the pre-light draw was good, with just a bit of resistance. After lighting, I was greeted with a slightly bitter flavor which quickly dissipated after a few puffs. From then on the tastes were mostly of creamy, cedary tobacco with occasional hints of coffee and mild spices. The burn was even and I did not have to work hard at getting lots of thick blue smoke.

Not much complexity here, but these are a very good mild-medium strength cigar that goes well with a morning cup of coffee or some iced tea in the early afternoon.
