So I was gifted this cigar recently and have been skeptical about it because of the "intense press" gimmick. I had some free time yetserday so I decided to light it up. The notes are definitely spastic at best because I wasn't concentrating too much on the cigar but jotted down whatever stood out.
Rocky Patel I-Press
Drinking Water
Watching Road to Perdition
Very loose draw (loosest draw i've ever had)
Beautiful dark wrapper, great aroma, creamy, tons of sweet (sugar) white smoke, got very harsh quick, more than 1 puff a minute and it harshened up
½ inch in and earthiness begins to dominate and sugar is underlying...
Cedar begins to pop out about 1/2 way into the cigar with an underlying nuttiness, sweetness is still present but barely....
Final third: finished out harsh, put it down with 2 inches left...
Score: 83
