  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I had the great joy of having this smoke today. Before i say my experiences with it let me first say i am not as experienced or trained in the art of Cigar smoking as others but i did my best to take in the smoke and make some notes for this post. So, i defer to others who are more experienced in this area and ask for your helpful, constructive criticism.
From what i have heard about this smoke it is a Ecuadorian wrapper, and Nicaragua/Dominican filler and Binder. I have tried Rocky before and did not like it but this one was really good and has brought me to to consider buying another Rocky at some point. I felt it had a smooth flavor, and not spicy at all. I hard some say it is a full bodied spicy cigar, but i did not experience that in my smoke today. I would say it is a medium bodied cigar. The Ash was white and i got it to about 1/2 inch, which i like to see on my cigar. The body did seem to get a little stronger but i would still label it as a medium body. I detected wood flavors throughout with only a slight change or addition to the flavor later on but i could not describe what it was, whatever it was it was good. I would give this smoke a 4/5, only because the lack of spice. I like a cigars with some spice and i simply did not detect it here. I will buy more of these and give Rocky another chance on others because of this one. I had some pictures but i can not find my USB to upload it, maybe i will update later. So, is there any out there who has smoked this? How was it?
