Roller on summer bee duty

Well I haven't been as productive as a roller over the warm months as I thought I would be. Could have something to do with the 90,000 workers I have to look after this year

I'll get back to rolling in the fall when these girls slow down a bit before winter.

I’ve thought about getting bees. Is it a lot of work or once a week type task?

Hardest part is wearing the suit in August. The more experienced you get the less work it becomes. If you have good forage, few diseases, mite, beatle or insecticide problems beekeeping can be very productive and a once every couple of weeks thing. But they are not maintenance free and can be alot of work.

Fascinating hobby always something new to learn.

Once a week and yes it does get hot but whatever, they are super cool to work with and understand the colony dynamics.

Amazing haul! I have another cigar friend who has done the beekeeping for a few years now, but not with that kind of success.
