  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

All my roll ups thus far have been parejos. I use the book method. I believe I'm getting pretty good, and am considering getting a mold to roll a more complicated shape. I was interested in hearing what changes in techniques I should be prepared for. Do I need to vary my distribution of filler within the bunch? Vary how I work the roll between my fingers and the board after binder is applied? Is it all in the mold? Something else?

I made a couple vids of the process, made about three years ago, back when I was a baby roller. I could do better now I spose.

Here's bunching:

Here's wrapping:

I still have that mold, if you want one, I'll swap you for some leaves, or some such.

The Erez wrapping is new to me. I'd never thought of starting with the barrel and letting the foot double under on itself. ..
