Here we go... my first review - RoMa Craft Intemperance Intrigue.
Size: 4x46
Wrapper: Brazil Ariparaca
Binder: Nicaraguan
Filler: Nicaraguan
The Intrigue is a great looking stick - a rich chocolate wrapper, toothy with some visible veins. I didn't notice till I was about to cut it, but the Intrigue has an unfinished foot. I assume on a larger stick I would have noticed this right away. The matte white band really pops and has a slight shimmer on the small silver accents. Also, my ashtray is full of frozen water, so I'm ashing in an empty can of beans used in chili we had the other night - reduce, reuse, recycle.

I make a cup of coffee, go sit outside, fire up the patio heater. It is 39 degree and wet from the four inches of snow that fell yesterday. I cut the stick and give it a few draws and get a little sweetness and hints of cedar.
1st Third:
Cold draw was true, as I can pick up cedar notes from the start. Also present is a slight pepper on the tongue that lingers in the back of the throat on the finish. As I continue I notice a very interesting note. I can't definitively put a name to it, but it's kind of woody and reminds me of smoking some ribs or a pork shoulder (I can't really get any closer than that lol). Whatever it is, I'm enjoying it. This mystery note then fades, and I starting to notice some sweetness, like cocoa, and leather. As I come to the end of the first third, leather is now the predominant note.

2nd Third:
Entering the second third, I am already really enjoying this stick. It's warming up a bit as the sun comes out, and the baby is sleeping like big ol' pimp with her hand behind her head - making the experience even more enjoyable.

Rich leather is now easily noticeable, with the sweetness that came near the end of the first third still hanging around. The occasional peppery note pops up, but it is much more noticeable on the retrohale (although not eye watering by any means). The notes of leather persist, and remind me of chewing on the laces of a baseball glove - if you have done that before, you know exactly what im talking about. Just about to move into the final third and the pepper is becoming a bit more noticeable, with a tingle on the tip of the tongue. I've also noticed someone used my patio heater to relight a cigar when I had people over for NYE. I can't imagine that worked out well.

Final Third:
Along with the pepper, leather is still present, and cedar has come back into the picture. As I continue to smoke, I'm getting some tar build up to the point where I can taste it on my lips. To remedy the situation, I give the stick a fresh cut. Unfortunately my cutter is not the greatest, so cutting is tough and causes a crack in the end of the stick. Thankfully nothing too major, and I'm able to continue. A creamy sweetness is now making itself known along with the cedar. I'm getting down to nub, and its starting to get a bit harsh. This could be do to the fact that I gave the cigar only a short rest in the humi before putting a flame to it. And with that, I put the cigar down.

Total smoking time: 50 minutes
Hope you enjoyed it!
